Keep it “in the day”

One of the best tips we’ve heard lately is “Keep it in the day” and this can work for both self-care and when you’re trying to moderate or change your drinking habits.

Essentially, it is a live one day at a time message and it breaks down into a reminder that the day is only 24 hours long and you can manage every one of them.

Try not to get caught in thoughts about how long the indoor season will last or that “we don’t know exactly when we will come out the other side.” Focus on today, and today only, and what you can do to remain happy and healthy for the next 24 hours.

Remember, that today will pass and tomorrow will come and each day will be different but you’ve got this and are a magnificent, resilient human who can do anything. We have so much faith in you.
